The Massachusetts House is passing a bill to extend last call during the World Cup.
The measure would let cities and towns extend alcohol service by one hour, but no later than three a.m..
The proposal would run through August 31st and also allow designated public drinking districts.
Supporters say it could help businesses during World Cup matches and other major summer events.
The bill still needs Senate approval before going to Governor Maura Healey.
