The Wounded Warrior Project will bring 50 wounded veterans to Cape Cod this week for four days of healing, camaraderie, and cycling.
State Representative Steve Xiarhos says Thursday morning's opening ceremony will feature Singing Trooper Dan Clark at Buzzards Bay Park in Bourne.
The riders will then travel along the Cape Cod Canal on the mainland side, turn around at Scusset Beach State Reservation, and return to Buzzards Bay.
On Friday morning the veterans will ride in Falmouth along the Shining Sea Bikeway.
Xiarhos is encouraging Cape residents to bring flags, signs, friends, and family out to support the riders.
