A roadway milling and asphalt overlay project is scheduled to begin today and continue through Friday along part of Sandwich Road in Falmouth.
The work will be taking place between Brick Kiln Road and Teaticket Highway, and there will be limited access to through traffic from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Police, Fire and EMS and school buses will have access through the detoured area at all times and police details will be on scene.
Officials say commercial vehicles will be prohibited from detouring down Trotting Park Road and a truck detour will be in place.
