Exterior renovations to the Superior Courthouse are expected to begin on July 6th.
Last week, the Barnstable County Board of Regional Commissioners voted to award a contract for the near five-point-six-million-dollar project to Homer Contracting, Inc.
Under the plan, Homer will subcontract Fernandes Masonry for masonry, Advantage Glass Holding for windows, and it will manage painting internally.
Over the next month all parties involved in the project will coordinate to prepare a construction specific schedule and administration tasks before the work begins.
