Phillies Take Down Red Sox In Opener

The Phillies opened their series against the Red Sox with a 2-1 win at Fenway Park.

Kyle Schwarber tied a Phillies' franchise record by homering for the fifth consecutive game.

Zack Wheeler earned the victory after striking out four batters over seven and a third.

Philadelphia has now won three straight.

Jovani Moran was charged with the loss after allowing Schwarber's home run.

Boston has now dropped three of its last four games.
