Woman Struck When Her Car Rolled Backwards In Harwich

A Harwich woman is seriously injured after the vehicle rolled backward and struck her.

Officials say the woman got out of her car to check the mail on Saturday afternoon when the vehicle hit her and crashed into another car on Great Western Road near Depot Street.

Weather conditions prevented a MedFlight transport and the woman was taken to Cape Cod Hospital by ambulance.

Further details about the victim's injuries and condition have not been released.
