The Town of Sandwich is letting residents know that Enbridge will inspect its natural gas pipeline system next week.
In order to properly inspect a portion of the Algonquin system, natural gas will be diverted through a designed flare system.
The flaring will be located on property near Route 130 and Service Road in Sandwich may be visible for a distance.
The work will begin on Tuesday, April 21st and it's expected to be completed by Friday, April 24th.
Enbridge representatives will be at the site to closely monitor and manage the flaring.
People in the vicinity may hear noise or smell the odorant in natural gas, but there should be no cause for alarm.
