The Barnstable County Sheriff's Office says the call volume for the 13 fire departments dispatched at the Regional Emergency Communications Center skyrocketed during the blizzard.
The total number of calls before the storm was 73 and during the week of the blizzard, dispatchers fielded 14-hundred-98 calls, an increase of just over 19-hundred-52-percent.
The Dennis Fire District alone received 303 calls during the blizzard, compared to nine the previous week.
