Sunday was a busy day for the Mashpee Fire Department.
Shortly after noon, crews were called to the scene of a truck fire on Holly Way, and they were able to extinguish the blaze before it destroyed a nearby house and shed.
No injuries were reported.
A short time later firefighters responded to Stratford Ponds Road for a report of a significant brush fire.
The fire resulted in a second alarm to increase manpower at the scene and crews had the fire contained shortly before 1:30 p.m.
There were no injuries.
