The Town of Eastham has been officially certified as a Climate Leader Community.
The recognition is awarded to municipalities that have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to clean energy, greenhouse gas reduction, and long-term climate resilience.
Town Manager Jacqui Beebe says this is a significant milestone for Eastham and all those who continue to advance the commitment to climate action and environmental stewardship.
With the certification, the town becomes eligible for substantial state funding to support future clean energy and decarbonization efforts.
