The Town of Barnstable is looking for volunteers to join its water quality monitoring program.
The town says the citizen scientists will collect water samples across local estuaries, including Barnstable Harbor, Lewis Bay, Centerville River,
Halls Creek and Three Bays so officials can better understand and protect the ecosystems.
The sampling takes between mid-July and early September and the town encourages the public to take part.
