Town of Yarmouth Extends Disposal Area Fee Waiver

The Yarmouth Select Board has approved an extension of the fee waiver for brush disposal from the blizzard.

Due to the overwhelming response at the Disposal Area fee waivers for residents will continue through Sunday.

The Disposal Area is open from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. every day, however the busiest times are usually between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

To qualify for the fee waiver proof of residency must be shown and the resident or property owner must be in the vehicle.

Officials say brush from commercial landscapers does not qualify for free drop off.
