Parts Of Cape Cod Could See More Than Two-Feet Of Snow

Some parts of Cape Cod could see more than two-feet of snow by the time the winter storm ends.

The snow impacting the Cape and Islands will be heavy and wet, increasing the likelihood of tree and powerline damage.

Travel is expected to be difficult to impossible during the peak of the storm, with the National Weather Service saying the road conditions may be treacherous and potentially life-threatening.

There is also the likelihood of widespread wind gusts of 50-to-60-miles-per-hour on the Cape Cod and the Islands with the possibility of some gusts hitting 70-miles-per-hour.
