The Town of Orleans has released an update on its public safety milestones in 2025.
Last year, Orleans Fire-Rescue responded to 28-hundred-66 calls for service.
Officials say the numbers reflect the growing demand across EMS, fire response, and regional support services.
The town continued its recruitment and retention efforts amid a nationwide paramedic shortage, and it expanded its paramedic training with a federal grant that will support four additional members this year.
Officials also say major equipment investments continued with new ambulances, a tower ladder, and upgraded cardiac monitors that are now in service.
