Patriots Dominate Chargers In AFC Wild Card

The New England Patriots put together a dominant performance to knock off the Los Angeles Chargers 16-3 in the AFC Wild Card Round at Gillette Stadium.

Drake Maye won his playoff debut after throwing for 268 yards, one touchdown and an interception.

He also led the team with 66 rushing yards.

Hunter Henry scored the game's lone touchdown on a 28-yard reception in the fourth quarter.

The Pats will play the winner of Monday's matchup between the Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers.

LA quarterback Justin Herbert passed for 159 yards and rushed for a team-high 57 yards in the season-ending loss.

The Chargers have not won a playoff game since the 2018 season.
