The pilot of a private plane is dead after a fiery crash at Provincetown Municipal Airport.
The pilot was the only person on the aircraft when it went down shortly after 3 p.m. on Sunday.
The Provincetown Fire Department and mutual aid companies responded to the scene and the fire was under control in around an hour.
The pilot's name has not been released, and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the crash.
