Nutrition and Food Safety Specialist Kim Concra says holiday feasts can sometimes lead to foodborne illnesses like Salmonella if food isn't handled properly.
Concra has posted food safety tips at capecod-dot-gov on topics that include thawing your turkey, prepping and cooking the bird and storing and reheating leftovers.
