The Chatham Police Department has completed the deployment of new LED speed advisory signs.
The fixed sign purchase was supported at last May's Annual Town Meeting after a community request to reduce speeding on Chatham roadways.
The locations for the speed signs are based on recent traffic data that include speed, traffic volume, time of day and more.
Six of the fixed signs were installed this week to slow the speed of vehicles on select roadways. The units do not use cameras.
