P-Town Receiving State Grants For Various Projects

P-town is getting a financial boost from the state for some much-needed projects.

Two-hundred-thousand-dollars in grant money is on the way to advance affordable housing proposals for town-owned properties on Bradford Street, Nelson Avenue and near the corner of Route 6 and Shank Painter Road.

Two other grants worth about 100-grand will be used to install EV charging stations on the Macmillan Pier parking lot and along Winslow Street.

Grant money is also going to the local police department to pay for extra patrols and new equipment.
