Plymouth Wind Farm Shuts Down Amid Broken Blade Investigation

The company that operates a Plymouth wind farm has shut down operations as it tries to determine the cause of a broken turbine blade.

The blade fell off of the 300-foot-tall turbine on Friday and landed in a cranberry bog on Head of the Bay Road.

The turbine operator is working with the equipment manufacturer to find out why the blade broke.
