Cape Cod Community College is receiving a 107-thousand-dollar grant to support training for medical specialists.
The money will be used to train addiction recovery workers and medical interpreters at the school in Barnstable.
The funds are part of a one and a half-million-dollar statewide investment in creating new career pathways for unemployed and underemployed adults.
State Education Secretary Dr. Patrick Tutwiler says education does not stop at high school graduation, it's a lifelong pathway.
