General Assembly leadership says there will be a joint oversight committee hearing into the Washington Bridge closure next month.
Speaker Joe Shekarchi and Senate President Valarie Lawson say the hearing is scheduled to take place on November 13th and former U.S. Attorney Zachary Cunha has been retained to assist the committees.
Lawmakers say they called for the hearing after the release of last month's forensic audit that detailed decades of deterioration and neglect.
