Actress Cheryl Hines says the rift within the Kennedy family is "disappointing."
Hines, who tied the knot with Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. in 2014, described the situation as "hard" while addressing the family fallout in a recent interview.
According to Hines, the clash has even surprised Kennedy's mother, Ethel.
Several members of Kennedy's family have spoken out against the HHS secretary, but it has not hindered his relationship with the whole family as he is poised to attend an event in Washington alongside his cousin, former Congressman Patrick Kennedy.
