Federal Government Shutdown Affects Salt Pond Visitors Center

The Salt Pond Visitors Center at the Cape Cod National Seashore is closed due to the federal government shutdown.

On Wednesday, visitors found the center locked, however the public restrooms were open, and they are expected to remain accessible.

In a Facebook post, the National Park Service says during the shutdown, it will continue to share critical information about park access, safety, and resources.
