U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Junior visited Martha's Vineyard Tuesday for a meeting with a federal tribal advisory committee in Aquinnah.
Protesters gathered at the airport and along the motorcade route holding signs reading "We Trust Science" in response to RFK Jr.'s positions on vaccinations and other health-related issues.
Aquinnah tribe nurse Nessa Duarte was among those protesting RFK Jr. and expressing concerns about what his visit could mean for their community.
According to the Vineyard Gazette, Duarte says he "spreads misinformation," he's anti-science and anti-medicine.
