An 18-year-old Falmouth man faces a dangerousness hearing in Barnstable District Court today in connection with an alleged school shooting plot.
Falmouth Police began investigating Ian Fotheringham in August after receiving information that he reportedly wanted to shoot up a school.
Earlier this month, safety monitors found a suspicious man in the woods behind a school, and he was identified as Fotheringham.
A search of Fotheringham's home turned up photos of the Columbine High School shooting and a 3D printer capable of making a gun.
