Memorial ceremonies and remembrances are taking place on Cape Cod today to mark the 24th anniversary of the September 11th attacks.
Provincetown Police, Fire and EMS personnel will join the US Coast Guard for a ceremony at 9 a.m. to remember those who lost their lives on 9-11.
The Wellfleet Fire Department will hold a ceremony at 9:45 this morning, and in Eastham there will be a 9:50 remembrance at the flagpole outside of the fire station.
Brewster will hold its annual remembrance ceremony at Fire Headquarters on Main Street this evening to honor first responders, civilian victims, and their families who were impacted by the terrorist attacks in New York City, Washington D.C, and Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
