Dennis police are warning kids not to take part in a dangerous TikTok challenge.
It's a deal where participants run up to the front doors of homes and mule-kick them before running off, usually in the middle of the night.
One South Dennis resident posted doorbell camera video of one suspected prankster who was approaching her door at 3:35 a.m. just as she was opening it to take her dog out.
Police say homeowners have the right to defend their property if they think it's being broken into, and the consequences for the joke could prove deadly, so parents are being urged to talk to their kids.
