Dennis Police are investigating a pair of Tuesday afternoon crashes that sent at least one person to the hospital.
At around 1:30 p.m., officers responded to a wreck involving an SUV and a scooter at the intersection of Route 28 and Sea Street.
The scooter operator was not hurt, but his passenger was injured, and she was taken to Cape Cod Hospital.
The driver of the Volvo was not injured, and she remained at the scene.
Shortly after 4 p.m. a pickup truck and an SUV crashed on Theophilius F. Smith Road at Bertram Avenue.
Two ambulances were called to the scene, but there's no information on how many people were hurt or the extent of their injuries.
