Paving Work Begins Today At Two Sandwich Schools

Road crews in Sandwich are giving residents a heads-up about some work slated to begin tomorrow.

They're planning to start the process of resurfacing the main access driveways at both Forestdale and Oak Ridge elementary schools.

Milling, patching and paving will begin at 7 a.m. and continue until 5 p.m., with hopes of wrapping up the bulk of the work before rain showers on Thursday.

Access to both schools and the Adventure Playground will remain open, but drivers are asked to follow the directions of safety officers.
