Crews Carry Out Water Rescues On The Cape

No injuries are reported after several water rescues across the Cape on Thursday.

Around 2 p.m. firefighters and a Provincetown Harbormaster boat rescued as many as four people after winds blew their kayaks into the West End Breakwater.

Shortly after 3 p.m., rescuers from Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills were called to Wianno and Sea View Avenues for a report of a sailboat in distress.

Two people were found in the water, and both were wearing personal floatation devices.

In Eastham, a kayaker rescued a child who was being carried out by the current at Silver Springs Beach.
