Interesting Stats Emerge With Five Finalists For SSA GM

Some interesting stats are emerging from the Steamship Authority's international search for its next GM.

The leader of the London headhunting firm in charge of the search told the Authority last week that a total of 40 people applied for the job, about half were from the U.S., and only two were women.

The search committee also said five finalists have emerged who have a wide range of backgrounds but plenty of experience with big steamship operations.

The panel plans to interview them virtually in about three weeks.
