Hyannis Felon Sentenced For Unlawful Possession Of Firearm

A Hyannis man has been sentenced to ten-years in federal prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Donnell Pina pleaded guilty after being indicted by a grand jury in November of 2022.

Pina was arrested in 2021 after selling a Chinese SKS rifle and a Walther Colt M4 semi-automatic rifle to a confidential federal informant.

Due to prior felony convictions, Pina was prohibited from possessing firearms.
