The blockbuster movie Jaws opened on June 20th, 1975, and the location used as the fictional Amity Island is celebrating the iconic film's release.
Martha's Vineyard has a big lineup of events and exhibitions for the movie's 50th anniversary.
There are walking tours of filming locations, family friendly activities and talks about shark conservation.
On Saturday there's a screening of Jaws accompanied by a live performance of John Williams' musical score performed by the Cape Symphony in Edgartown.
