State Grant Money Coming To Help With Pond Pollution

The C-and-I are getting more than a million-bucks in state grant money to help with pond pollution.

The Healey administration is providing the Wampanoag Tribe 700-grand to remove excessive amounts of phosphorus from Santuit Pond.

The Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment is set to receive more than 400-thousand-dollars to install 25 urine diversion systems to protect watersheds affected by nitrogen impairments.

The Martha's Vineyard Commission is also getting 100-grand for several watershed-related efforts on its to-do list.
