Juvenile Arrested After Stolen Car Police Pursuit, Crash In Barnstable

A juvenile faces charges after allegedly stealing a car, leading police on a chase and crashing in Barnstable.

The incident started just after 10:30 Saturday night when a car was stolen at the Domino's Pizza in Marstons Mills.

Police later spotted the car at Route 28 and Pitcher's Lane and the driver took off, crashing into a vehicle on eastbound Route 6 near the Route 132 exit. Three occupants of the vehicle that was struck were taken to Cape Cod Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the stolen car ran into a wooded area near the Hyannis Golf Course and despite the use of K-9 units, drones and a State Police helicopter, police were not able to find the suspect.

On Sunday morning golfers called police to report a suspicious person on the course and when police responded they took the stolen vehicle suspect into custody.
