Cape Cod Community College is moving its 63rd Commencement ceremony to Friday because of weather concerns today.
The ceremony is being held at the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis, but the date had to be changed due to the expected strong winds today.
The college apologizes for the inconvenience and short notice, but they say the ultimate goal is to make sure graduates, faculty, staff, and guests are safe during the biggest celebration of the year.
Graduates should arrive at the venue at 3 p.m. Friday to line up for the 4 p.m. ceremony.
