A Sandwich police officer is being treated at Cape Cod Hospital following a rollover crash.
The unidentified officer had their cruiser's emergency lights and sirens activated while responding to an overdose call around 9:15 Thursday
morning when they struck another vehicle at the intersection of Cotuit and Quaker Meeting House roads.
The impact sent the cruiser onto its side and the officer had to be rescued by firefighters.
The other driver was left unhurt.
