Major Cape Cocaine Supplier Arrested

A man suspected of having a major hand in Cape Cod's cocaine trade is now in custody.

Following a months-long investigation into the illegal drug market by Barnstable police, officers arrested 37-year-old Italo Dumont in Hyannis on Tuesday before a task force raided his home in Yarmouth.

Police found Dumont with more than three ounces of coke on his person and seized more than kilo from his residence along with a large sum of cash.

He was arraigned on drug trafficking charges.
