Man In ICE Custody In Plymouth To Appear For Hearing On Cape

A hearing is set for next week for a man who pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman in P-town.

It was scheduled for April 11th after attorneys for Nicholas Rose said they plan to argue a motion to suppress evidence after filing their own motion for a speedy trial last month.

The 66-year-old Rose pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in Orleans District Court in June 2024 on charges of assault and battery, kidnapping and indecent exposure.

He was ordered to be held on bail but was later found to have an active ICE warrant and is currently in the custody of ICE in Plymouth.
