The nonprofit Calmer Choice in Osterville will be ending its operations later this spring.
The organization says after deep reflection and careful consideration, the Board of Directors has decided to close operations on May 31st.
Calmer Choice says like many nonprofits, it has experienced difficulties securing resources in the face of narrowing funding pathways and its current model of operation is non-viable.
Calmer Choice was founded in 2010 to support students on the Cape who have been impacted by the opioid crisis.
Services were expanded to adults in 2022.
