A contractor for the Town of Barnstable will start construction this week at Bismore Park Marina in Hyannis.
Beginning Wednesday, Coastal Marine Construction will be doing bulkhead rehabilitation, replacing existing water lines, and paving walkways.
Officials say the activity is part of on-going maintenance and rehabilitation of the site and it's expected to continue through April.
While the construction is underway some parts of the marina may temporarily be inaccessible to the public and visitors should call ahead to find out about the closures.
