Passenger Allegedly Opens Door Of Departing Flight At Logan

A passenger on a JetBlue flight has been arrested for allegedly opening a plane door while it taxied for departure at Logan Airport.

The incident happened last night as a JetBlue flight prepared to depart Boston for Puerto Rico.

The opening of the over wing exit door caused the emergency slide to deploy.

State Police were called to the scene and took the man suspected of opening the door into custody.

Passengers tell NBC Boston that it appeared that a male passenger had a fight with his girlfriend over a phone and that's when the door was opened.

The man's identity was not released last night, and he's expected to be arraigned today.
