Eastham police are asking for help in locating a hit-and-run driver.
They say evidence left behind points to a black 2016 to `18 Chevy Silverado pickup that hit a utility pole on Route 6 near Hemenway Road shortly before 1:30 this morning before driving away.
The crash shattered the pole and brought wires down onto the highway, leading to its closure and power outages in the area.
Cops say the vehicle should have heavy damage to the front driver's side. Anyone with a tip should call Eastham police.
