A Sunday night standoff in Eastham was peacefully resolved and the suspect is in custody.
State and local police reportedly followed a vehicle through several towns and used tire deflation devices to stop the driver near Route 6 and Locust Road.
While the situation was unfolding police asked residents to shelter in place.
No details have been released, other than the suspect being taken into custody at around 11:30 p.m.
