YMCA, Chamber Of Commerce Receive Funds For Work, Wellness Programs

The YMCA and the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce are recent recipients of more than 230-thousand dollars in state funding for work and wellness programs.

Sixty-thousand-dollars will go toward the design and permitting of a new YMCA next to Falmouth High School.

The facility will offer after-school programs, health and wellness resources for Upper Cape residents.

The Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce is receiving more than 170-thousand-dollars to expand its commercial driver's license training programs and address a regional shortage of truck drivers.
