A vehicle crash in Wellfleet has led to the arrest of a suspect on drug charges.
The accident happened early Thursday morning on Long Pond Road when a pickup truck struck a telephone pole that snapped in half, leaving fallen wires across the roadway.
Forty-three-year-old driver James Gray was not injured and during the crash investigation police say they discovered suspected cocaine at the scene.
Gray was arrested and booked at the Wellfleet Police Department on cocaine trafficking charges.
He was later arraigned and released on 15-hundred-dollars cash bail.
