A Brazilian man who is already facing drug and gun charges is the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Twenty-eight-year-old Gustavo Mroczkoski was arrested in March as part of a narcotics investigation in Edgartown and was later indicted in Dukes County Superior Court.
He pleaded not guilty in July and his bail was set at 50-thousand-dollars ahead of a court hearing later this month.
Federal officials say Mroczkoski unlawfully entered the U.S. in 2021 in Arizona and fled after being arrested by border patrol and released on his own recognizance.
