The Dukes County Sheriff's office is passing along a scam warning from Martha's Vineyard Bank.
Over the past several weeks people claiming to be bank representatives, have been calling customers to get them to withdraw a large sum of money because their funds are at risk.
The fraudsters tell the victims not to discuss the reason with anyone, including bank staff, because they may be involved.
Martha's Vineyard Bank is actively working to inform its customers about the scheme.
