Steamship Authority GM To Step Down In 2025

Steamship Authority General Manager Robert Davis has announced that he will step down from his leadership position in around a year and transition into an advisory role.

Davis made the announcement Tuesday during the SSA's monthly board meeting, saying serving the Steamship Authority and its port communities for nearly four decades has been an honor.

He says there have been many accomplishments made to further strengthen the lifeline to the islands, from the addition of new vessels to the undertaking of major shoreside and terminal improvements.

Davis says he looks forward to moving several more projects forward during the next year.
